GySEV, the Hungarian railway company opened its renewed 116 km Sopron-Szombathely-Szentgotthárd line, enabling the access to southbound directions at a speed of 120km/h and meeting the European comfort standards. The project has been funded by the European Union in 85%.
Prolan Co. – as a sub-contractor of Thales Rail Signaling Systems Ltd. – delivered its state-of-the-art AKF application, as the front–end system for managing the station train traffic.
Beyond the AKF implementation, Prolan delivered the electric energy remote control system for the whole line, including all the station switchyards and the Körmend transformer sub-station.
