Vasútvill LLC is a legal successor to a state owned MÁV subsidiary established in 1949 and has currently more than 600 employees. The company is specialised in constructing 25kV/50Hz/1 phase overhead lines for railways. Our business profile includes design, construction, maintenance, renovation and modification. Beyond the aforementioned we also undertake other works generally associated with such projects, like isolating overhead lines while working on railway structures. Our company has experiences in installing overhead line equipment such as electric train heating points-heating, auxiliary transformers and transformer stations as well as in establishing perimeter lighting systems and laying down optic cables. Our company has state-of-the-art technical equipment at its disposal, including OHLE maintenance vehicles, concreting vehicles, rail cranes and cars, for delivering high quality works.

Vasútvill LLC (its predecessor) has been commissioned by MÁV and GYESEV to equip more than 2000 km rail track with overhead lines during the last decades and – taking into consideration its current resources – it is capable of delivering construction works on an estimated 300 km per year. The overhead lines – according to the current requirements – can be built so as to be supported by catenary bridges or by transmission towers. If low velocity tracks are involved we offer special overhead line systems in order to keep the investment cost low.

The headquarter of the company is located in Budapest .The premises adjacent to the office buildings accommodate machine shops specialised in manufacturing, storage rooms as well as other rooms serving our maintenance team.

As a consequence of a business profile expansion Vasútvill LLC has been operated and has been responsible for the maintenance of the overhead line track between Székesfehérvár and Szombathely since 1999. Our tasks comprise maintenance works for three transformator stations (in Veszprém, Celldömölk and Szombathely) as well as for the OHLE remote control system. On 1 January 2005 Vasútvill LLC undertook to attend to the same responsibilities in the eastern and western region of Hungary extending the length of the managed line track to 4.967 kilometres.

Vasútvill LLC is certified in the field of design, construction and operation of OHLE-s according to ISO 9002 and ISO 9001 since 1998 and 2003 respectively.
