Membership of the Smart Future Innovation Cluster
Prolan became a member of the Smart Future Innovation Cluster!
Smart Future Innovation Cluster aims at forming cooperation on European level in order to help smart metering and smart grid technology prevail in Hungary. The Cluster provides support to its members as a business partnership and sets up a network within which projects as well as long term cooperation can easier be established.
Being a member entails further advantages. Funding allocated by the European Union plays a pivotal role in “smart” innovations owing to the great initial costs and the current economic circumstances under which financial sources are getting harder to come by. Companies and organisations which belong to a cluster have a bigger chance to take part in European innovation programs and can apply for dedicated funds.
The cluster invites SME-s, as well as big companies, research centres, universities and other organizations to join. Current members include GDF SUEZ Energia Holding Hungary Ltd., Siemens Ltd., ABB Hungary Ltd., ALSTOM Hungary Ltd., E.ON, Magyar Telekom, MVM Net Ltd., MAVIR Ltd., and the University of Óbuda to name but a few.
