As a main sponsor, Prolan Zrt. participated in Hungary’s largest professional event dedicated to railway signalling systems – the 4th Railway Telecommunications and Signalling Conference, organized by the Hungarian Scientific Association for Transport (KTE) in Sümeg.

During the morning plenary session, Márton Feldmann, Director of Railway Automation and Deputy CEO of Prolan Zrt., gave a presentation on the flexible applicability of the PRORIS-H system. He highlighted that in the past four years, only one new signalling system contract has been signed on the Hungarian railway network — an unsustainable situation that calls for a real market and a long-term strategy.

In the afternoon session, Péter Csikós summarized practical experiences of automatic train operation, presenting forward-looking development proposals.
It is also worth noting that MÁV’s strategic goals include the expansion of the Prolan WebPult system, marking another important step toward innovative railway digitalization.
