On 25 September, InnoTrans 2026, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the international railway industry, came to a close. The four-day event in Berlin once again provided an excellent opportunity to meet our Hungarian and international partners and customers, and to present Prolan’s latest railway automation developments to industry professionals and visitors.

Throughout the four days of the exhibition, our stand hosted numerous professional meetings and forward-looking discussions. In addition to strengthening existing relationships, new opportunities for cooperation also began to take shape, meaning that the discussions initiated in Berlin will continue well beyond the exhibition.

Key professional meetings at the Prolan stand

It was a great honour to welcome Dávid Vitézy, Minister for Transport and Investment, to our stand. His visit provided an opportunity to present Prolan’s railway automation activities, developments and the solutions showcased at this year’s exhibition.

During InnoTrans, we also had the opportunity to meet representatives from the management of our key customers, as well as numerous Hungarian and international industry partners. Our discussions focused on the modernisation of railway infrastructure, digitalisation, and opportunities for more efficient and faster implementation of railway developments.

We were also delighted to welcome members of the College for Transport Engineering of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) to our stand. We believe it is important for the next generation of railway engineers to engage directly with industry players and gain insight into technologies already being applied in practice. The students had the opportunity to learn more about Prolan’s activities and our railway automation developments.

International professional engagement at InnoTrans

InnoTrans 2026 was also an important event for Prolan in terms of our international industry presence. Márton Feldmann, Director of Prolan’s Railway Automation Division, member of the UNIFE Presiding Board and Chair of the UNIFE SME Committee, presented the UNIFE SMEs Award 2026 to representatives of the Finnish company Mipro during the exhibition.

The company received the award for developing an object controller based on EULYNX, the European open standard. Following the award ceremony, Márton Feldmann also participated in a professional panel discussion, where he spoke about Prolan’s achievements, developments and future plans.

The exhibition has ended, but the professional work continues

The four days of InnoTrans brought inspiring encounters, valuable professional discussions and emerging opportunities for cooperation for Prolan. The strong interest in our stand and the discussions held throughout the exhibition once again highlighted the importance of meeting industry partners in person.

InnoTrans 2026 has closed its doors, but the conversations and collaborations initiated in Berlin will continue.
