Milestone in Railway Digitalization on the Budapest–Hegyeshalom Main Line
Prolan reached another milestone in railway digitization on behalf of R-KORD Kft. as the main contractor, as part of the project entitled "Eliminating congestion and improving connectivity on the Budapest (Kelenföld) – Hegyeshalom line".
With the introduction of KÖFI (Central Traffic Control) and technological remote monitoring systems (FET, HETA, switch heating, area lighting), real-time central traffic control has become possible along the entire 175 km section of the Budapest–Hegyeshalom main line.

On 18 September 2025, the Hungarian Railway Conference took place at the Danubius Hotel Helia, bringing together representatives of the Hungarian and international railway sector to share their experiences and visions for the future. The panel discussion on the latest developments in the railway vehicle industry and opportunities for the modernization of the domestic rolling stock was professionally moderated by Márton Feldmann, Director of the Railway Automation Division and Deputy CEO of Prolan Zrt.
